A national survey and report released by Safe and Sound Schools, with Lightspeed Systems and Raptor Technologies included data from school district administrators, public safety staff, teachers, parents, and students, identified gaps in feelings and perceptions about school safety.
The results highlighted that nearly one-third of students reported not feeling safe at school. In addition, all groups surveyed indicated a rise in substance abuse, depression, and anxiety amongst students.
