This innovative solution has enabled the Trust to enhance its educational programmes while ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"component component__title\"><span class=\"component__title__copy\"><br \/>\n<span class=\"component__title__title\"><br \/>\nTHE CHALLENGE: GETTING AN OVERVIEW OF APP USAGE AND COMPLIANCE<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Joshua Stephens, Trust Strategic Data and GDPR Lead, was tasked with ensuring that all applications used within the Trust were compliant with GDPR standards.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Prior to implementing Lightspeed Insight, the Trust had not utilised a system that provided such comprehensive oversight of app usage.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>As a growing trust, they also needed to involve the finance department in reviewing Insight to identify potential cost savings.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"component component__title\"><span class=\"component__title__copy\"><br \/>\n<span class=\"component__title__title\"><br \/>\nIMPLEMENTING LIGHTSPEED INSIGHT<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">With a 1:1 Chromebook programme in place, the Trust aimed to gain insights into app usage outside of school hours. Lightspeed Insight provided the necessary visibility to track educational app usage effectively, allowing the Trust to make informed decisions about their digital resources.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The platform is designed to deliver critical visibility for validating investments, informing instruction, and safeguarding student data.
