A student, a friend, a classmate. But they didn\u2019t speak up. Not because they didn\u2019t care, but because they didn\u2019t know how<\/em>\u2014or didn\u2019t trust that speaking up would help, or that it wouldn\u2019t backfire on them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We need to make it easy\u2014and safe\u2014for students to say something when they see something. Not just a checkbox compliance line, but a real system that works in the moment, without fear or judgment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Secret Service has studied school shootings for years. And they\u2019ve found that 74% of school shooters left warning signs online. In their chats. In their documents. In their searches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This isn\u2019t about spying. It\u2019s about prevention of school shootings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We\u2019re talking about monitoring school-issued devices on school time. Schools own these systems, and under federal law, they\u2019re required to monitor them.
