\u00c1ngela:<\/strong> Brian y yo nos conocimos en un evento local en Austin, donde varias organizaciones se reunieron para hablar sobre la salud mental infantil y los desaf\u00edos que enfrentan hoy. Me impresion\u00f3 de inmediato el trabajo que realizaba Lightspeed. No eran solo una empresa tecnol\u00f3gica; se preocupaban profundamente por proteger a los estudiantes. Esto encajaba perfectamente con la misi\u00f3n de UGLI, que se centra en ayudar a los ni\u00f1os a superar el acoso escolar, desarrollar su autoestima y aprender a amarse a s\u00ed mismos.<\/p>\n

Brian:<\/strong> Fue una de esas conexiones instant\u00e1neas. Ambos vimos que, si bien nuestras organizaciones proven\u00edan de perspectivas diferentes (UGLI se centraba en la autoestima y la lucha contra el acoso, y Lightspeed en la seguridad en l\u00ednea y la vigilancia de la salud mental), en realidad abord\u00e1bamos el mismo problema: proteger a los ni\u00f1os. \nP: \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 la prevenci\u00f3n del acoso escolar es una parte tan fundamental de las misiones de Lightspeed y UGLI?<\/h4>\n

\nP: \u00bfC\u00f3mo trabajan juntas sus organizaciones para abordar el acoso escolar?<\/h4>\n

\u00c1ngela:<\/strong> Mi mensaje es simple: No est\u00e1s solo. Ya seas un estudiante que sufre acoso escolar o un padre que intenta apoyar a su hijo, hay personas y recursos listos para ayudarte. En UGLI, creemos que todos los ni\u00f1os merecen sentirse seguros y valorados, y con el apoyo adecuado, podemos detener el acoso escolar.<\/p>\n

Brian:<\/strong> Estoy de acuerdo con eso. Y a\u00f1adir\u00eda que se necesita la colaboraci\u00f3n de todos. Estudiantes, padres, educadores y proveedores de tecnolog\u00eda: todos tenemos un papel que desempe\u00f1ar para mantener a los ni\u00f1os seguros. La prevenci\u00f3n del acoso no se trata solo de responder a los incidentes, sino de crear un entorno donde el acoso no ocurra.
