Je souhaite c\u00e9l\u00e9brer cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement en vous parlant de mon incroyable exp\u00e9rience de cet \u00e9t\u00e9\u00a0: mon stage chez Lightspeed Systems.<\/p>\n<p>J&#039;ai pass\u00e9 huit semaines \u00e0 Austin, au Texas, \u00e0 travailler avec des personnes formidables pour une entreprise qui a un impact consid\u00e9rable sur l&#039;\u00e9ducation. Lightspeed Systems r\u00e9volutionne la fa\u00e7on dont les \u00e9coles surveillent et prot\u00e8gent les \u00e9l\u00e8ves, \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9cole comme \u00e0 la maison.<\/p>\n<p>Passer l&#039;\u00e9t\u00e9 ici m&#039;a permis de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9volution de l&#039;apprentissage num\u00e9rique. En primaire et secondaire, les filtres web bloquaient trop de contenu et \u00e9taient faciles \u00e0 contourner. La technologie de filtrage de Lightspeed surpasse largement les filtres utilis\u00e9s dans mes \u00e9coles.<br \/>\nDe plus, l&#039;Internet que je connaissais \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9poque n&#039;est plus le m\u00eame aujourd&#039;hui. Il offre davantage d&#039;opportunit\u00e9s \u00e9ducatives, mais aussi plus de dangers. Les \u00e9coles sans filtrage efficace peuvent exposer les \u00e9l\u00e8ves \u00e0 des contenus d\u00e9rangeants et violents.<\/p>\n<h3>\n<span><br \/>\n<span><br \/>\nVoici trois autres le\u00e7ons que j\u2019ai tir\u00e9es de mon stage chez Lightspeed.<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<\/h3>\n<p><strong>1. Certains sites sont difficiles \u00e0 filtrer avec certaines solutions. Ce n&#039;est pas le cas de Lightspeed.<\/strong><br \/>\nLe web est soumis \u00e0 peu de r\u00e8gles. Par exemple, YouTube est tr\u00e8s populaire dans les \u00e9coles et propose de nombreux contenus \u00e9ducatifs utiles aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves. Malheureusement, YouTube ne dispose pas de mesures pour le s\u00e9curiser pour les enfants, et certains parents et enseignants ignorent probablement \u00e0 quoi les \u00e9l\u00e8ves acc\u00e8dent quotidiennement.<\/p>\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 notre technologie exclusive, <a href=\"https:\/\/1. Cyberbullying is a real issue, but proper online monitoring can help One project I worked on during my time at Lightspeed was researching statistics about cyberbullying. It became apparent to me how huge the cyberbullying problem is in schools. (See Lightspeed\u2019s cyberbullying report here.) We can\u2019t forget the fact that students who are bullied are more prone to self-harm, violence and suicide. We can combat cyberbullying, violence and other risks to students by monitoring student activity, especially online. Relay is built to help schools monitor suspicious activity and search terms, allowing administration to intervene and connect with at-risk students who may be too shy to seek help on their own.
