Il distretto scolastico di Anchorage ha emanato una norma che consente a studenti, volontari e insegnanti di segnalare in forma anonima episodi di bullismo, molestie, intimidazioni e altri problemi.<\/p>\n

La nuova politica offre agli studenti la possibilit\u00e0 di segnalare episodi di bullismo senza che il loro nome venga allegato alla segnalazione.<\/p>\n

Il cambiamento \u00e8 abbinato ad un nuovo software chiamato\u00a0STOPit<\/a>, un sistema di segnalazione anonima che consente agli studenti di inviare foto o video, comunicare in forma anonima con gli amministratori e include una linea telefonica per suggerimenti attiva 24 ore su 24, 7 giorni su 7.<\/p>\n

Il software sar\u00e0 disponibile a novembre nelle scuole secondarie e alternative. Sar\u00e0 implementato nelle scuole private e nelle scuole elementari durante il semestre primaverile, secondo i funzionari del distretto scolastico.<\/p>\n

Il consiglio scolastico aveva una politica in vigore secondo cui gli studenti e il personale che erano a conoscenza di episodi di bullismo nei confronti di uno studente dovevano segnalarlo immediatamente al preside, il quale avrebbe poi avviato un'indagine.<\/p>\n

Il consiglio scolastico ha aggiornato\u00a0la sua politica<\/a>\u00a0per affermare: "La possibilit\u00e0 di segnalare le preoccupazioni in forma anonima deve essere resa disponibile a tutti gli studenti, volontari e membri del personale con ASD".<\/p>\n

Il consiglio ha inoltre aggiunto una clausola alla norma in base alla quale chiunque effettui consapevolmente una segnalazione falsa potr\u00e0 incorrere in provvedimenti disciplinari.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

"Ci sono momenti in cui gli studenti potrebbero non sentirsi al sicuro nel segnalare tali preoccupazioni e spero che questo sia un altro modo per far sentire la propria voce e garantire un ambiente di apprendimento sicuro", ha affermato il membro del consiglio scolastico Carl Jacobs, che ha collaborato con l'amministrazione alla revisione.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

"Quando si verificano problemi di salute mentale o di benessere, STOPit offre al personale e agli studenti con ASD l'accesso immediato a un professionista qualificato in grado di aiutarli", ha affermato Holland.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
