Lightspeed Alert ™

Human Review works 24/7/365! But whether they monitor jouw alerts outside of school hours depends on your settings.

Imminent threats are about to happen and require immediate intervention.

  • Risk levels are rated low, medium, high, or imminent threat.

The qualifiers for an imminent threat include:

We’re focused on making sure the right information gets to your team in the right way, depending on the nature of the alert.

So no, they will not call for every alert. The call tree escalation process is for imminent threats. Lightspeed Student Safety Specialists will call contact 1, then 2, all the way through to the end of the list, in which law enforcement will be contacted.

For other concerning alerts that are not imminent, they will send an email.

You may have the AI only version of Alert. Human Review is a great addition, extending your team and ensuring someone is looking at alerts 24/7/365! To have human review added to your Lightspeed Alert account please contact your Lightspeed Systems Account Manager.

Apple prohibits third-party screen monitoring on iOS. Lightspeed Classroom works on Chromebooks, Windows, and Mac devices. (Lightspeed MDM makes it easy to manage Apple Classroom on iOS.)

Yes! Lightspeed Classroom gives admins access to view all of the classroom’s screens at once, or zoom in on a selected individual student. Yes! This is a common request from schools and districts around the world, to find actionable data of apps students or teachers may be using on the network that are unapproved. We call them rogue apps, or unvetted app. And there are probably more than you think!
