De acordo com o Centro Nacional de Estat\u00edsticas Educacionais, 1 em cada 5 estudantes relata ter sofrido bullying, com uma porcentagem maior de casos envolvendo alunas, o que destaca a urg\u00eancia de conscientiza\u00e7\u00e3o e preven\u00e7\u00e3o proativa. A UISD continua a tomar medidas significativas para combater o bullying por meio de programas inovadores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este ano, o distrito lan\u00e7ou uma nova iniciativa empolgante, o Clube UGLI, apoiado pela Funda\u00e7\u00e3o UGLI, uma organiza\u00e7\u00e3o antibullying fundada por Angela Garcia em Austin, Texas. A funda\u00e7\u00e3o concedeu subs\u00eddios de $2.000 a 17 escolas da UISD, 13 escolas de ensino fundamental e quatro escolas de ensino m\u00e9dio, cada uma para lan\u00e7ar e manter seus pr\u00f3prios Clubes UGLI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UGLI, sigla em ingl\u00eas para \u00danicos. Talentosos. Amados. Individuais, capacita os alunos a aceitarem suas diferen\u00e7as, ao mesmo tempo em que promove a compaix\u00e3o e o respeito em todos os campi. Al\u00e9m das bolsas, a Funda\u00e7\u00e3o UGLI oferece \u00e0s escolas participantes produtos da marca, um guia completo de atividades do clube, programa\u00e7\u00e3o sazonal e acesso a webinars informativos para professores, administradores e pais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por meio de uma parceria com a Lightspeed Systems, a Funda\u00e7\u00e3o UGLI tamb\u00e9m est\u00e1 implementando iniciativas antibullying online para a UISD por meio de uma doa\u00e7\u00e3o de $50.000 para tecnologia. \u00c9 a primeira do g\u00eanero e fortalecer\u00e1 ainda mais a seguran\u00e7a digital e apoiar\u00e1 as iniciativas antibullying do distrito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
