A mudan\u00e7a emergencial para o aprendizado remoto, devido ao fechamento de escolas em resposta \u00e0 COVID-19, for\u00e7ou os distritos a usar a tecnologia para dar suporte ao aprendizado online de maneiras e na imediatez que eles nunca imaginaram ser poss\u00edveis.<\/p>\n

Agora, um ano depois, a Lightspeed Systems teve a oportunidade de se reunir com Steven Langford, Diretor de Informa\u00e7\u00e3o da Distrito Escolar de Beaverton<\/a> em Beaverton, Oregon, para saber mais sobre a resposta de seu distrito \u00e0 pandemia da COVID-19, li\u00e7\u00f5es aprendidas, novas inova\u00e7\u00f5es implementadas para garantir o sucesso da equipe, dos pais e dos alunos, recupera\u00e7\u00e3o da perda de aprendizagem e sua perspectiva do "novo normal" \u00e0 medida que seu distrito escolar abre suas portas para o aprendizado presencial.<\/p>\n

Em mar\u00e7o de 2020, quando a pandemia da COVID-19 fez com que as escolas fechassem, meu distrito viu uma explos\u00e3o no n\u00famero de ferramentas tecnol\u00f3gicas usadas, pois saltamos do aprendizado presencial para a instru\u00e7\u00e3o remota 100% em quest\u00e3o de dias. Milhares de escolas fizeram isso. Os professores se tornaram instrutores e facilitadores remotos online da noite para o dia, enquanto os pais e cuidadores se tornaram \u201cdiretores\u201d das escolas em suas casas.<\/p>\n

Quando se trata de tecnologia, nosso distrito teve sorte. Ap\u00f3s uma vota\u00e7\u00e3o de t\u00edtulos em 2014, conseguimos entregar tecnologia 1:1 para cada aluno do K-12. As s\u00e9ries de seis a 12 puderam at\u00e9 levar seus dispositivos para casa. T\u00ednhamos um programa de gerenciamento de tecnologia confi\u00e1vel e bem estabelecido em vigor cinco anos antes da pandemia.<\/p>\n

Na primavera de 2020, nosso distrito lan\u00e7ou um help desk de tecnologia, tudo imaginado em cerca de cinco dias. Foi dif\u00edcil, mas foi necess\u00e1rio em resposta \u00e0 pandemia. Tivemos que repensar o que era poss\u00edvel. Esse pensamento abriu as portas para um novo conjunto de modos educacionais. Tamb\u00e9m proporcionou uma oportunidade para os pais verem seus filhos aprendendo de maneiras que nunca tinham visto antes. O modelo escolar tradicional estava mudando diante de seus olhos.<\/p>\n

N\u00f3s temos excelentes ferramentas anal\u00edticas dos nossos sistemas Lightspeed<\/a> que nos permitem olhar os dados para ver quem usou o qu\u00ea e com que frequ\u00eancia. Temos que nos concentrar totalmente na governan\u00e7a tecnol\u00f3gica, pegando um universo de dispositivos e aplicativos e reduzindo as coisas para aquelas mais alinhadas com o curr\u00edculo e verificadas quanto \u00e0 privacidade. Agora podemos tomar decis\u00f5es reais sobre quais ferramentas tecnol\u00f3gicas est\u00e3o funcionando. Podemos eliminar redund\u00e2ncias e parar de desperdi\u00e7ar d\u00f3lares do or\u00e7amento de tecnologia. Estamos reduzindo esse universo tecnol\u00f3gico para garantir que manteremos as ferramentas de que realmente precisamos.<\/p>\n

Resumindo: precisamos facilitar isso para que possamos permanecer engajados e apoiar nossos alunos, n\u00e3o importa o que aconte\u00e7a.<\/p>\n

\nSabemos que o aprendizado remoto foi dif\u00edcil para alguns alunos em termos de aprendizado socioemocional e perda de aprendizado. Como a escola de ver\u00e3o parece diferente este ano?

J\u00e1 estamos vendo um n\u00famero recorde de alunos se registrando para a escola de ver\u00e3o para se atualizarem. O aprendizado remoto ajudar\u00e1 a garantir que as necessidades de todos os alunos da escola de ver\u00e3o sejam atendidas. Durante o fechamento, criamos uma escola virtual e ouvimos dos pais que essa op\u00e7\u00e3o funcionou bem para seus filhos, ent\u00e3o a estamos mantendo. No futuro, podemos envolver os pais nos seis, oito ou dez aplicativos com os quais os alunos precisam trabalhar. Os pais n\u00e3o devem mais se sentir sobrecarregados com a quantidade de aplicativos escolares que seus filhos est\u00e3o usando. Com isso, tamb\u00e9m forneceremos suporte e um help desk para ajud\u00e1-los.<\/p>\n

Com a reabertura das escolas, h\u00e1 uma tenta\u00e7\u00e3o de retornar ao que t\u00ednhamos antes. H\u00e1 conforto na ideia de retornar ao que t\u00ednhamos antes. Quando as pessoas ouvem que voltaremos ao ensino presencial no outono, a maioria dos pais, professores, administradores e alunos se sentem aliviados e seguros. Mas se literalmente voltarmos \u2014 se voltarmos o rel\u00f3gio para 2019 \u2014 perderemos uma oportunidade \u00fanica de criar algo novo. Vamos melhorar a educa\u00e7\u00e3o. E para fazer isso, precisamos olhar para tr\u00e1s objetivamente e avaliar o que est\u00e1vamos fazendo antes da pandemia que funcionou. Tamb\u00e9m precisamos analisar o que deu certo com nossa resposta \u00e0 pandemia em termos de tecnologia, op\u00e7\u00f5es de entrega e ambientes de ensino.<\/p>\n

Mesmo com quase todos os distritos escolares retornando ao aprendizado presencial neste outono, n\u00e3o sabemos se uma variante do coronav\u00edrus nos empurrar\u00e1 de volta ao aprendizado remoto. Precisamos reconhecer essa possibilidade. Mas estar pronto para tal evento n\u00e3o significa voltar atr\u00e1s. Significa seguir em frente. Seguir em frente com um plano que pega as op\u00e7\u00f5es de aprendizado anteriores, o que fizemos bem para ofertas de aprendizado din\u00e2mico em um ambiente remoto, e as combina para criar algo novo, adapt\u00e1vel e flex\u00edvel.
