GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A 14-year-old student at Rosemary Middle School was detained Wednesday after typing a threat to “blow up” the school on their school-issued computer, according to the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO).
“The threat was discovered by the Georgetown County School District’s online monitoring system, Lightspeed, and the school Safety Department and School Resource Officers were notified,” GCSO explained.
